OUR FOUNDERS:

Steve and Ollie’s friendship started at school where they would spend much of their time running their eBay stores rather than doing the work that their teachers had set them which in time their teachers decided to accept. Both realised that university wasn’t for them, and they decided to start their own business.

Steve went into the automotive sector manufacturing interiors and Ollie went into bathroom design. Fast forward 14 years and they decided that they could put their joint skills to use and start a company between them.

In early 2024 they were discussing the demand for sustainable, contemporary furniture combined with the quality that can come from British manufacturing and they decided to do exactly that.

OUR TEAM

Fortunately, we were offered the opportunity to acquire a joinery in Rye Harbour that has a team of highly skilled traditional joiners and in house paint facility. Needless to say, we jumped at the opportunity and in June 2024 OXUN was born.

We made the decision to dedicate the initial months of operating OXUN to research and development including purchasing a CNC routing machine to ensure that the products we are offering are manufactured using the best materials and processes available.

OXUN is fully committed to becoming a market leader for furniture design and quality. We are proud to say that we have a fantastic team who will play a key role in making this a reality.
